Aztlán Development includes the Architects and Operators of successful theme parks and water resorts, including the Architect of Record for the world’s tallest water slide and the world’s longest water attraction. Aztlán Development includes designers who have worked on the Epcot Center, Disney World, Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas, and Beach Park in Brazil. The Aztlan Team has designed, developed and operated successful theme parks for over 30 years.

Mark Stuart (CEO)
Chief Architect and Schlitterbahn Executive Mark Stuart has been intimately involved in the delivery of six major, successfully-operating, and award-winning resort developments consisting of water parks, retail facilities, and lodging facilities. Mark’s creations can be seen in the Texas towns of South Padre Island, Galveston, New Braunfels, and Corpus Christi, as well as Kansas City, Kansas. Mark has also master-planned resort facilities for Cedar Park, Texas and Frisco, Texas and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mark owns and operates Anchor Marina Park, which includes two marinas, a motel, and two RV parks in Port Isabel, Texas. Mark co-founded and served on the Board of Directors at Assetworks Facility Management in San Antonio, served as Chairman of the Board for the Port Isabel Housing Authority, as well as interning at Walt Disney World Florida during the construction of the Epcot Project. Mark is a member of American Institute of Architects and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.
Roy Hahn (COO)
Roy Hahn is a producer, publisher and entrepreneur. He has been producing live events for the top resort casinos in world for the past 15 years. His clients have been Trump, Wynn, Adelson, MGM, Harrah’s, Hard Rock, and many others. Hahn was introduced to the gaming industry while he was publishing Swimsuit Illustrated. Subsequently, he published a series of travel and gaming magazines including theONE, Private Pier, Twenty-One and One&Only.
Two years ago, he ask his good friend and Academy Award winning Producer Albert Ruddy (Godfather, Million Dollar Baby) to assist him to produce a feature film. The film will span 500 years of Meso-American history and will be the basis of the Return to Aztlan Theme Park set in Indio California. Hahn subsequently sold his event production business to Player’s Network in Las Vegas and the One&Only Magazine to One&Only Resorts so that he can join the team of Aztlan Development and devote full-time to these exciting endeavors.

Alex Silva
Alex is currently the owner of Waterpark Design and has been the lead designer of major entertainment resorts around the world. Alex’s award winning designs and stunning presentations have set the stage to make him one of the world’s premier destination resort designers. Project work includes: Beach Park Hotel and Waterpark Brazil, six Schlitterbahn Water Resorts, Atlantis Bahamas, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon in Florida, and Playa Maya Water Park in China.
Mike Stuart
Mike’s experience in the technology industry is quite extensive. During his career, he has had the good fortune of serving both as a designer of complex enterprise applications and as a corporate executive. Mike was founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of AssetWorks Inc., now a division of a fortune 500 company and the industry leader in facility management solutions. Mike serves customers with digital strategies, doing business as 1stOnlineTech.com and 1stOnlineRealty.com.
