The City of Coachella is excited to welcome the Aztlan Theme Park to Coachella Valley. The Aztlan Development team and the City of Coachella are equally eager to see the results of this mutually beneficial project. Economic Development Manager Mark Weber noted that the Aztlan Theme Park will have unique benefits in Coachella, including close proximity to highways and junctions that connect the Lost Angeles area with Phoenix and Mexico. The Aztec themed park will likewise benefit Coachella by bringing in a projected 700 jobs.
Mayor Eduardo Garcia stated:
“…you are obviously aware of the challenges involved in developing a project of this magnitude and have assembled an impressive development team. Our City Council is eager to see Tourism development opportunities come to our City and we will have our staff work with you to fast track your project.
We share your belief that the time is right to develop this project in the city of Coachella.”
