The Efteling theme park in Holland, one of the oldest theme parks in the world, is looking to increase its number of visitors.  Like Aztlan Theme Park, the Efteling park plans to use a storytelling perspective and a compelling tale to promote its latest attraction.

The roller coaster, entitled the “Barron 1898″ attraction, will tell the story of the owner of a gold mine who stumbles upon a cursed lump of gold.  The cursed gold causes him to be haunted by ghosts called the “Weird Sisters.”  Not much more is known about the proposed roller coaster except its planned 123 foot drop.  The park is keeping any other details about the roller coaster quiet and will be relying almost entirely on the fictional narrative surrounding the ride for its promotion.
